Neighbor-Greek word πλησίος (plesios) means “near” or “close to.”
Most of us have experienced neighbors who are friendly and greet you when passing by. They may even ask to borrow sugar, milk or flour. And then there are some who walk past you without speaking or avoid making eye contact.
We may no longer live in the times where when someone moves in, you bake some cookies or bring over a dish. But simply sharing a warm smile and extending the same grace goes much further.
You may not know every detail about your neighbor but still love them as you love yourself.
Shalom 💙
